Electric Elvis (NZ)

Identified and sourced following an impressive trial win, the unraced 2-year-old colt Electric Elvis is an exciting new addition to the Ace Bloodstock string.

He ran 2.72 seconds (roughly 15 lengths) faster than the open class heat over 850m at Foxton trials. Stakes winner Yolo and stakes-placed Barzetti ran in that open class heat.

Standing at approximately 16 hh, Electric Elvis is a correct type of horse with a promising future. We look forward to targeting 3-year-old races over a mile in the Spring Carnival with him.

His sire, Time Test (GB) is a multiple Group winner, with his biggest victory coming in the Group 2 Tercentenary Stakes at Royal Ascot. He has produced nine stakes winners in both hemispheres, including four individual Group winners.

Hailing from an exceptional family, he's out of the Fast 'N' Famous mare Paris Carver. She's half-sister to Group 1 placegetter Ambitious, the dam of Group 3 winner, Group 1-placed Strike The Stars. His dam also names Make A Wish, the dam of Group 1 TJ Smith S. winner and Golden Eagle hero, I Wish I Win, as a half-sister.
